Repair Procedures:
Hoists are repaired in accordance with ANSI B30.16 Safety Requirements. Covers are removed and thorough tests are performed to ensure the unit is safe to operate. Unit is then moved to the 20-Ton test stand and subjected to a 25% overload in accordance with ANSI, followed by a visual inspection of the chain parts and chain guide. The hook and safety latch are inspected. Any worn or damaged valves, rotor vanes, and brake parts are replaced. All high failure rate components are replaced. The hoist is then thoroughly cleaned, painted, and load tested a final time. If the unit does not pass any part of the inspection, a second opinion is requested from another TEAMSESCO hoist technician.
